Diego Moreno, a Mining Engineer from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, will begin his research in August 2025, focusing on hydraulic fracturing in deep mining environments as part of the project “HIDRA: High-pressure experimental investigation of deep-mining induced-hydraulic fracturing.”
Lucy Bravo is a Mining Engineer from the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María. Her research focuses on the impact of mining operations on fault reactivation and induced seismicity.
Fernanda Espínola is a Mining Engineer from the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María. Her research will pursue alternatives to evaluate factors influencing the transition from open-pit to underground mining .
